Our client was the son of two deceased parents who wanted to clear
out his parents’ home. It had been empty an locked for over a year,
and every belonging of theirs was still inside. Our task was to
clear the house completely so that the client could sell it.
Clearance overview
Our team reached the site a little before 9 am and had to wait for
the client to arrive who unlocked the house. Our team started right
away from taking out all the furniture and then emptying the
cupboards, wardrobes, and drawers. The living room showcases had
some antique pieces, which were carefully wrapped and boxed. There
were a few ukuleles found in the bedrooms that were also boxed up.
Disposal of contents
The contents cleared were disposed as per the client’s wishes. The
clothes, cutlery, crockery, books, and musical instruments were in
good condition and were donated to charity organizations. The
antique pieces along with documents and photographs found were kept
by the client.
