Clearance requirements
We were instructed to clear a 2-bedroom 2nd floor flat. The property had been empty for many years and was damaged due to years of smoking inside the property.
Clearance overview
The clients had recently brought the property and needed it clear before the renovation. A lot of work had to be done. We arrived at the property at 9 a.m. with a crew of 3 fully uniformed men in one of our large furniture luton vans. Some of the house contents were even packed, items like bric o brac and kitchen utensils, for the ease of the team. We came fully equipped with tools to disassemble the furniture and um-plum the white-goods. The carpets were in a bad condition so the owner asked if we could lift and dispose of those. The curtains were removed too as they were damaged by the smoke.
Disposal of contents
The furniture was bulky and in a bad condition which meant it could not be reused therefore was taking to the recycling centre for segregation. The white-goods were usable so they were donated along with the books and clothes from the property which were donated to a local charity project.
