CLEARANCE OVERVIEW
We were asked by a young couple to clear their small two bedroom
house in the city as they were moving to the suburbs to start a
family. They said that they were about to sell the house and were
moving and clearing the house simultaneously. They said that they
had taken all the useful furniture and did not require the remaining
objects.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
The house was located in the outskirts of the city. The owners
wanted to meet us before they left for work so our team met them
outside their house at 8.00 am sharp, just as they had requested.
The house had a small garden as well, and we were told that that too
was to be fully cleared as the new owners wanted to start their
little garden.
DISPOSAL OF CONTENTS
There was a lot of waste generated in this cleaning. There were old
redundant newspapers and magazines found in a living room that were
given for recycling. There was a small 4-chaired dining table in the
kitchen that was given to a local charity. There were some assorted
pieces of cutlery and china that were donated to the local soup
kitchen. There were some old flower pots and gardening equipment in
the garden which were sold online to a nearby park. In a store room
of sorts, there was a box with a pendant in it that had been
apparently been forgotten by the owner, and when we returned it to
her, she was pleasantly surprised and had thought she had lost it
forever.
CLIENT COMMENTS
The clients were extremely happy with the quality of our work. By
the time both of them returned, at about 4.00 pm we were completely
done. They said that they were extremely happy that the stuff had
been disposed of quickly and responsibly.
