CLEARANCE OVERVIEW AND REQUIREMENTS
We were appointed to carry out the clearance of a 4-bedroom semi-detached house with a garden. The owner wanted the house to be put out on the market and had already contacted an estate agent. We were required for the clearance to be completed before the arrival of the agent. The client instructed us to remove everything from the house except for some things such as beds and kitchenware as he wanted to put them on auction as well. We arrived later than we usually do in order to avoid the early morning traffic jams in the area. Inside the house was a lot of damaged furniture. We then started to remove all of the furniture; sofas, wardrobes, bric o brac, tables and television stands. We were also instructed to remove the carpet but leave the underlay. The house and garden were restored to favorable conditions for the estate agent to see.
DISPOSAL OF CONTENTS
Unfortunately, we were not able to donate anything as the items were not in usable conditions. These items were transferred to a recycling centre were they were then segregated and disposed of professionally.
