Clearance requirements
Our team was appointed by a couple who wanted to move into a new house and needed to clear out their previous home. They wanted to tidy and pack all their furniture and belongings and also to leave the house very clean. It was the client’s special request to pay special attention to the kitchen belongings.
Clearance overview
Our team inspected the house on arrival and then divided the workload amongst ourselves. The furniture that the couple wanted to keep were put to one side for them to sort out. The rest of the household items were took to a local recycling centre where it was professionally disposed off. The books, paintings, crockery, decoration pieces, and all other items had to be packed in individually labelled boxes and put into a cleared room.
The kitchen was cleared with due diligence. The cutlery, crockery and all other utensils and equipment were sorted and neatly packed. Only after the house was empty, the cupboards, floors, and showcases had to be cleaned.
Disposal of contents
The old furniture that the couple wanted to get rid off was took to a local charity shop. The rubbish was packed and then took a recycling unit where it would be recycled and reused at a later date.
